A small clump found on the bank of a paved drainage ditch parallel to Chickatawbut Rd. (near Chickatawbut/Rt. 28 intersection). Fragrant sumac has been recently introduced to the Blue Hills among many plantings at the reconstructed Blue Hills Reservoir nearby and it is now spreading from there.
