This and the next photograph (along with some of October ones) were taken in 2006 and 2012 along Burma Road in Neponset R. floodplain. The tall, showy aster has been long gone from there--displaced by invasive plants (mugwort, purple loosestrife, reeds, etc.) just some 3-4 years later.
