This was a solitary tall shrub growing at a small forest brook far away from any homes and looking quite natural. Abundant, spectacular fruiting attracted our attention; otherwise, we might just walk past it. Birds must be responsible for this addition to the native habitat. It appeared as though there were no seedlings around.
