This photo and a few next should be compared with
that of V. corymbosum in flower. Both species photographed on the same
day in the same place. Leaves were much less developed,
flowers narrower and generally smaller in V. fuscatum. The difference was striking
even from the distance: V. fuscatum was pure white, while flowering V. corymbosum was already green.
