A mystery photo. Pure saltwater cordgrass is on the left; pure salt hay is on the right. One thing is that the two dominant grasses don't mix, but even more mind-bogging is the presence of this bare line separating the two! If this is a trail, then who in the world would position it directly along the demarcation line between the grasses? Does anyone have a clue?
