A fallen old shrub/tree on the pond shore. This hybrid willow has been recorded from SE Massachusetts (BA, DU, NA). The identification is tentative; this could be a different hybrid, possibly the same as the plant from Myles Standish State Forest, Plymouth ( http://www.salicicola.com/photos/gallery/view/1/11674/20060902canon0201s ).
