The funnel-shaped corolla may be "slightly irregular," as manuals have it. The fat, crested lower lobe of the corolla looks rather bizarre, sometimes becoming quite large, as if galled by an insect. This enlarged lobe is perfectly normal and serves 'an invitation' to pollinators.
