Thalictrum pubescens Pursh10 of 27
May 17, Stony Brook Reservation, Boston
tall meadowrue
Mid-May is the time when tall meadow-rue is starting to become
tall. It can grow to 2.5 m. No wonder its other spoken name is
'king-of-the-meadow." Despite the Latin name, it can be either
pubescent or glabrous.
