Peach is said to be not infrequent at the roadsides all across Massachusetts. Any pedestrian or driver, when spitting a familiar sculptured stone into the bushes, thus serves as an introducing agent. However, it's not that often that we see a successful, mature, fruiting peach! Peaches are most vulnerable during the winter: they cannot tolerate any significant frost spills.
