Our cold-water swimming breakthrough was fully rewarded. When we approached the islet, we could not believe our eyes. This was an entire field of flowering bladderwort thriving in the shallow pond water. Multitudes of showy, bright yellow flowers were duplicated by their mirror images. Photo credit Luba Batuner
